Since 1997, Jim Browning has been helping boys & girls in Gaston County learn about horse behavior, horse care & building skills on how to ride a horse.   Numerous children have visited Horseplay over the years through birthday parties & riding lessons.  Many have enjoyed their experience so much that they  choose to purchase or lease a horse & begin to learn about  horses on a day by  day basis.  Some of the young girls & boys that you see at local rodeo shows have started out  or continue to ride at  Horseplay of Gastonia .  If you are interested in visiting for a trail ride  or need information about boarding your horse -  Laura (704) 689-0980  or Jim Browning @  704-713-1641.

Camp Thunderbird - Lake Wylie leased approximately 15 horses from Horseplay this summer (2010 & 2011) and gave almost 3,700 young riders an experience that they will never forget.  We hope that all the kids had a great time with these horses & were able to learn and grow thru their experience. Update: Camp Thunderbird will again use Horseplay for the 2012 season.
